Labor Day

Brett is such a good sport to put up with all my childish whims. We came down the mountain early to go do the Labor day thing.  We got down, unloaded all of our stuff, and got ready in time to go to lunch with my parents.  My parents had just got done with the parade and were headed back to New Harmony, so they wanted to meet up with us before we left for the fair.

After lunch we headed straight to the car show, so that Brett could get his fix for the day.  And surprisingly I got mine there as well.  My favorite car (Dodge Challenger) was there. Right as we got to the car it started raining, so I didn't think to take a picture, but this one was pretty close to the one here.
We headed over to the fair after the raid had stopped.  We walked through and saw all the rides and the Reptile Tent that they had instead of the petting zoo (LAME!) and then headed over to see a little bit of the rodeo before it got over.
We met CJ and Lacie and watched the Bull Wars and the watermelon race. I'm glad that we decided to go, because I got to watch my cousin ride.
After the rodeo was over, we decided to leave instead of going on the rides (we were still so full from breakfast we both would have puked).  But instead of going home, Brett took me up to see Cedar Breaks for the first time.  I can't believe that I have lived my whole life in Southern Utah and have never been there before.  It was absolutely beautiful....especially with the rainstorm that made the sky look way more dramatic than usual.
