California Day 3: California Adventure

Today was the day that I finally caved. I have been so worried about my leg hurting because of my sciatica. I can hardly walk 5 minutes without it bothering me. Brett had been telling me for weeks that we should just rent a wheelchair. I did really well yesterday, but today I was hurting. As embarrassing as it was for me, I got over it and it really was better to be pushed around than to be hurting and miserable the whole time. Even "Elsa" wanted to push me and go for a ride.
I can't believe how amazing my husband is. I was really upset when we went to get the chair and had to spend a few minutes in the bathroom composing myself. He never once complained about pushing me around the entire park and all he could talk about was how he was glad that I was having a good time and not hurting. He makes everything so much more fun because he is always excited to do things and is so positive. We are like little kids together and it is amazing to me that I was able to find someone like him. I may be bias, but I feel like we have a lot more fun that a lot of people our age, because we aren't afraid to be silly and have fun.

I think it is safe to say Carsland was a big favorite. It was just like walking into the movie.

They had parades every night. We didn't sit and watch a full one, but they were fun to walk past and see all the dancing and singing.

 The Tower of Terror
Walking through California Adventures. Even though there weren't really any fun adult rides in Bug's Life, I thought it was one of the coolest places in the park. Again...like walking into the movie.
Brett and I at the "boardwalk" in California Adventures.
I had only ever been on an old wooden one that was on a boardwalk, but Screamin' California was the first roller coaster that I have ever been on that went upside down. It was so funny cause I was doing my "nervous, but it's kind of fun laugh the whole time". After that we all went down to the shops and the boys played some of the games.
Addie wanted everyone to go and see the Little Mermaid ride. It is so funny how they cram an entire movie's worth into a 15 minute little ride. This is us in a clam shell :)
After being at California Adventures, we headed back over to Disneyland for some of the rides we missed yesterday. We went on the Jungle River adventure and of course we couldn't not go on the Indiana Jones Ride. That one was probably one of my favorites.

Brett and I were the only ones who really wanted to go on the riverboat. I knew it wouldn't be exciting, but I have wanted to go on a real one in the Mississippi for a long time, so I thought it would be kind of fun.
