Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is always a busy, busy day for Brett and I.  We spend a lot of time on the road going back and forth between our families.
This year, Christmas Eve started out with some friendly Mario Kart competitions on the Nintendo 64 while we were waiting for everyone to get ready to go to the bowling alley. Mario Kart is definitely the best Nintendo game ever made ha ha!

And Christmas Eve just wouldn't be, without the tradition of bowling! It is a great time.  Family and friends get together, eat, drink, and have a grand time.

After bowling, Donna was inspired to put on a live Nativity.  She did a great job of putting it together and wants to make it another tradition :)

Donna has a Christmas Eve party every year.  Brett and I stayed for dinner, but had to leave early to go out and see my family.

When we got out to New Harmony, Jeremy and my dad were putting together the bunk beds that they had made for Knox and Krew.  Not gonna lie...I'm jealous of their bed!! It has a periscope type thing so they can see each other from their separate bunks, a dumb-weighter so that they can send messages or toys from top to bottom bunk (or visa versa), book shelves in each one, and a slide from the top bunk!  Jeremy designed it and my dad help make it.  It turned out really neat.
After hanging out at my parents house for a bit, we headed back to Keith and Donna's to get our Christmas Jammies and then went home, stuffed our stockings, and went to bed.

We are still working on juggling the holidays between two families, but it is so great that our families are close enough together that we can see them both.
